For the love of guac! Dan Ryckert and Bianca Monda’s recent wedding at Taco Bell’s Las Vegas Cantina location may seem like an unusual choice of location, but theirs definitely won’t be the last. The couple, who won the Tex-Mex chain’s Love and Tacos competition earlier this year, got married in a fun taco-themed wedding to kick off Taco Bell’s $600 wedding package—for free.
Ryckert and Monda beat out more than 150 contestants to win the coveted all-expenses paid wedding back in February after submitting a 30-second video professing their love for the taco chain. (Impressively, Ryckert has tried every single menu item offered to date, and Monda even surprised her love with a trip to the impressive Pacifica, California location for his 32nd birthday.)
On Sunday, June 25, Ryckert and Monda donned plenty of Taco Bell-themed attire, including a hot sauce bow tie for Ryckert and a sauce packet bouquet for Monda, and said “I do” in Taco Bell’s Cantina Chapel. (The bride’s gorgeous cream-colored dress was not, however, made of any taco-related products.)
The duo’s reception was also obviously catered by Taco Bell, with a smorgasbord of good eats for their guests to enjoy: quesadillas, burritos, Cheesy Gordita Crunches, and guacamole galore. In place of some bubbly, family and friends toasted with champagne flutes filled with Twisted Freezes, and for a wedding cake, the pair was presented with a two-tiered cake created by Cinnabon.
“I just got married at the Taco Bell Cantina in Las Vegas,” Ryckert said on Taco Bell’s Snapchat Sunday. “It was amazing. I am full but there’s more Cinnabon Delights cakes to eat so I gotta get busy with that.”
Starting August 7, other Taco Bell fans can get hitched as part of the restaurant’s $600 wedding package too, which will include an officiated ceremony, a Taco Bell garter, bow tie, sauce packet wedding bouquet, “Just Married” T-shirts and a Taco 12 Pack.
