French Connection officially released its inaugural bridal collection Monday, April 2, and the looks are both timeless and boldly modern.
The capsule collection includes several looks ranging from floor-skimming, classic silhouettes (one maxi-dress, the Cari Sparkle, features see-through, billowing sleeves and cinched-waist beaded detailing, while another, the Palermo, features a cap sleeve and plunging neckline) to contemporary pieces that give brides a more unique option for their big day.
One such look combines the soft elegance of lace with the edgier look of wide-legged trousers (with a knee-skimming coulette option as well). Paired with a matching lace short-sleeve top or a feminine pussy-bow blouse, the vibe is both romantic and effortlessly cool, perfect for warm weather weddings.
The collection also offers an assortment of bridesmaid dresses in a range of “sorbet”-colored pieces, including an azalea-hued fit-and-flare lace dress with a fitted bodice and a slightly flared skirt that hits just above the knees. (The item listing notes that it’s “a flattering dress that you’ll love to wear again and again).
Another standout is the Massey Lace V Neck Dress, a crochet lace mini dress with a “cold-shoulder balloon sleeve” that will give bridesmaids a fun burst of color and interesting silhouette perfect for lighting up the dance floor.
For brides looking to bring patterns into their wedding parties, French Connection’s collection also features soft floral-print bridesmaid dresses, like the Christy Bloom embroidered maxi dress, which includes flower embroidery and just the slightest touch of sparkle.
Dresses in the collection start at $128 and go to $478. Check out a few looks below.
