Adrianne Palicki is engaged to her co-star, Scott Grimes, she revealed Thursday, January 17.
The Friday Night Lights alum, who played Tyra Collette on the NBC drama, took to Twitter to share a loved-up snap with her new fiance—her ring on full display.
“So happy to spend my life with you @ScottGrimes,” Palicki wrote. “#ido #iloveyou.”
Both Palicki and Grimes star on Fox’s The Orville. They first made their big debut as a couple in 2018 at a Comic-Con show in San Diego.

The actress was previously engaged to stuntman Jackson Spidell. “Things happen,” Palicki told Entertainment Tonight of her former relationship in 2017. “I called off the wedding in 2015. There were some major issues in our relationship that I ignored… I realized only a couple months before the wedding that sometimes people aren’t meant to be together and it’s OK to walk away.”
She added, “I’ve taken the time since to just really be on my own. You know, take care of myself. So, if Mr. Prince Charming comes walking to my life, great, but I’m not on a mission.”
