House Jonas will have to hold. Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner revealed this week that she’s holding off from wedding dress shopping for a good reason.
“I think fashion is ever-changing,” Turner told People. “You never know what’s going to be fashionable next year, so I think I am just holding off for now.”
The star, who’s engaged to Joe Jonas, is very much looking forward to their wedding, but the couple will start the planning process in 2019. (“We’re waiting until the season is done until we get into any of that,” she previously told the Radio Times.)
However, Turner is certain of one particular style element. “Whenever I wear heels, I feel really f—ing powerful,” she expressed to People. “I always want to wear pants with heels, that’s when I feel the most badass. Or a good pair of sunglasses; I feel like a female boss.”
The couple announced their engagement in October, and marked their relationship status with a party the following month.
The bride already asked her co-star, Maisie Williams, to be a bridesmaid. The groom’s brothers, Kevin and Nick, will also take their respective spots in the bridal party.
Meanwhile, the entire Jonas family is on board with the couple. “[We] love the way that Joe loves her and the way that she loves him,” Jonas family patriarch Kevin Jonas Sr. told People. “We’re a blessed family to have her as our future daughter-in-law—and, in our minds, [she’s] already a daughter-in-law!”
