Gwen Stefani‘s creative ambitions may be leading her to weddings — for business reasons!
The No Doubt singer, who’s successfully ventured into fashion with her lines L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers, could potentially turn her gaze to bridal. Stefani, however, acknowledges that it could be a unique endeavor.
“Getting the right partner would be really important in that,” Stefani told Women’s Wear Daily this week. “It’s technically complex, but I just have a super strong point of view as far as my taste and what I love. Just give me opportunities to tell you whether I like it or not.”
The talented singer and designer has considered designing wedding gowns after creating a piece for the bride of No Doubt guitarist Tom Dumont back in 2004.
While the mom of three is open to talking about her career aspirations, she’s not yet talking openly about the possibility of marriage with her boyfriend, Blake Shelton. “I’m not really thinking about that right now,” she admitted.
The “Used to Love You” singer and her 40-year old beau lead busy lives. Shelton is busy filming season 11 of The Voice and wrapping up his latest tour, while Stefani is perfecting her role in the the animated musical comedy film, Trolls. She will be the voice of DJ Suki in the movie.
According to MSN, Stefani is also looking forward to her new show Kuu Kuu Harajuku on Nickelodeon, premiering October 3. The animated series – which Stefani produced – combines Japanese culture, music, fashion, travel, and expression – which are all things she loves.
“In the Harajuku district, which was of course happening for years and years before I discovered it, it was the self-expression and the need to be different and unique and stick out and be outrageous,” Stefani shared. “It was always something I loved to do as well.”
