No newsletter announcement this time, but Gwyneth Paltrow has a new relationship milestone. The Oscar winner confirmed on Monday, January 8, that she’s engaged to Brad Falchuk.
The actress and the producer formally announced their engagement to Good Morning America in a joint statement to kick off the week. “We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship,” they said.
It was reported by multiple outlets in November that the two were engaged, though this is the first time the couple directly confirmed the news. One entertainment outlet speculated that the two had been engaged for at least a year.
The ABC morning program also reported that the pair will appear together on the latest issue of GOOP Magazine where they will share details about their engagement.
This is the second marriage for Paltrow, who was previously married to Coldplay rocker Chris Martin.
Paltrow and Falchuk first met in 2010 when she guest starred on Glee, which her now-fiancé produced and co-created. The issue itself will hit stands on Tuesday.
