Consciously coupled, indeed. Hours after confirming her engagement, Gwyneth Paltrow took another big step forward with Brad Falchuk on Monday, January 8—on the cover of Goop magazine.
Both Paltrow and Goop shared the cover of its second issue less than 24 hours before its projected release date. The Oscar winner and founder of the lifestyle brand simply captioned the photo with a ring emoji, while Goop’s official account revealed the contents of the publication.
“Hot off the press, goop mag #2,” the caption reads. “This issue of our quarterly mag aims to answer some pressing questions about sex and love ❤️Inside you’ll find a candid conversation about making intimacy work with @estherperelofficial and GP, the intense and often fleeting energy behind a crush, and, let’s not forget, the big O. Look for it on newsstands tomorrow, or tap the link in our bio to order it online. #gooponpaper #catsoutthebag 💍.”
The couple, who first met on the set of Glee, confirmed their engagement to Good Morning America in a joint statement Monday morning. “We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship,” they said.
Paltrow made waves several years ago when she announced her separation from Chris Martin in a Goop newsletter, coining the term “consciously uncoupling” to confirm the split. The two still remain close friends and together, co-parent their children, Apple and Moses.
