Looks like a Bieber-Baldwin wedding won’t be happening in the months ahead, because Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin hit a big roadblock this week, and it’s one frequently faced by couples planning their weddings.
TMZ reported Wednesday, January 23, that Bieber and Baldwin’s guests were advised Tuesday that the nuptials would be rescheduled from its planned date in early March. According to the outlet, certain friends and family members among the 300 recipients replied to the save-the-dates with regrets that they couldn’t make it to L.A. given the limited timeline.
The general rule of thumb from an etiquette standpoint is to give guests about six to eight months’ notice so that they can book their travel and plan accordingly.
The outlet reports that the pair, who then scrambled to find alternative dates, realized—they’re married already. The couple now supposedly wants to take time planning the entire affair, potentially entertaining the option of having a destination wedding after all.
So far, they’ve invited guests like Drake, along with Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott.
The couple married in a secret courthouse ceremony in September after getting engaged in July. Baldwin previously shared her wedding vision in an interview conducted the same day she married.
“I just picture lights strung everywhere,” she told The Cut of her future ceremony. “I think having it in the woods would be so beautiful.”
