Lin-Manuel Miranda is thinking past tomorrow! The Hamilton creator just debuted a new ring finger tattoo in honor of his wife of nearly seven years, Vanessa Nadal.

The Broadway mastermind, 37, proudly showed off the design via Twitter this week. He opted for a simple “V” in lieu of a complex emblem. “In other news, I got a permanent parking spot for V over the weekend,” he wrote.

Miranda and Nadal—who works as a scientist—married in Staatsburg, New York, in September 2010. The couple exchanged vows at the Belvedere Mansion, a historic estate overlooking the Hudson River. According to The New York Times, a chorus of Broadway singers performed in the ceremony.

Several other noteworthy celebs have professed their undying love for their spouses with permanent ink. Daytime host Kelly Ripa has hubby Mark Consuelos’ last name tattooed on her left wrist, and country superstar Tim McGraw has his wife Faith Hill’s name on his right upper arm.

Contrary to popular belief, tattoos honoring a relationship don’t necessarily mean the partnership is doomed. “I guess if this don’t work out, I can get it filled in with a cross or something,” McGraw joked in a 2006 interview with People. More than a decade later, he and Hill are still going strong.
