He’s married! Actor Matthew Lewis, best known for his portrayal of Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter franchise, married Angela Jones over Memorial Day weekend.
The groom took to social media to post the first photo from his beautiful nuptials in Portofino along the Italian Riviera. “Not only did I miss @ArcticMonkeys in LA,” he wrote on Twitter, “but they were performing in Italy at the same time we were there and my wife made me get married instead. Fuming.”
On Instagram, Lewis was slightly more concise with his words by captioning the pic simply with the U.K. and the U.S. flag emojis.
The couple’s photographers, a duo, took to Instagram to post the same photo with a sweet message of support. “So happy to being your wedding photographers guys!” they wrote. “Thank you! You are amazing!”
The pair got engaged in fall 2016, though their relationship status wasn’t made public until December of that year. “They’re both over the moon,” Lewis’ rep told E! at the time. “They got together in July and hit it off straight away.”
