Get ready for sparkles on your screen! Beloved bridal designer Hayley Paige is coming to television sets in January 2018, and one of the best storylines in her TLC special—appropriately entitled Hayley Ever After—is that it will involve a former Bachelorette’s wedding dress.
Paige has been tapped to design the dress for season 11 Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe, who’s currently engaged to Shawn Booth. However, there’s a twist to the artistry with a competitive element involving… interns. The designer’s team will be asked to compete in the creative process with hopes to win Bristowe’s final approval.
“What I do for a living holds great emotional value and that is such a sensational motivator,” Paige tells The Knot exclusively. “Naturally, there is a bit of vulnerability in really putting myself out there, but I am more excited than nervous to share my creative process and approach to design.”
She adds, “Hopefully it will inspire more people to just go for it! #DontQuitYourDayDream.”
Paige’s one-hour TLC special will premiere on Saturday, January 13, at 9 p.m. ET. The designer has also partnered with Facebook’s Watch platform for a five-episode supplementary series that will help spotlight the behind-the-scenes process of her design process.
