Grab your bridal robes and sheet masks, millennials. This line is for you. One of your favorite furniture retailers Ikea just debuted a new collection that’ll help take your self-care routine to the next level this spring as you’re wedding planning and building out your registries.
The latest line to be released by the Swedish furniture giant is called the Tänkvärd collection, which is a peaceful alternative to other structural home and design pieces. This particular collection was intended for sustainability, using textiles like linens and cottons to create an airy, breathable quality to your home. Furniture materials comprised of rattan, durable jute or sea grass were also largely resourced to craft everything from rugs to laundry baskets and more.
“This collection is all about self-care: embracing what is calming, pleasing, relaxing,” Ikea designer Akanksha Deo said in the release. “It’s about going back to basic human needs.”
Other fresh pieces unique to Tänkvärd include a cerulean blue kimono available only in two sizes. The collection also includes a calming bench available for $129 and a room divider for $89.99.
“I designed a piece that’s technically a room divider, but there are actually plenty of other ways to use it,” another designer named Iina Vuorivirta added. “My own name for this piece was ‘open wardrobe.’ There’s something about how you can hang your clothes on it in an easy, casual way that feels very right.”
