The world now has a chance to get to know Princess Eugenie’s new husband, Jack Brooksbank, a whole lot better. Approximately two weeks after Eugenie, 28, and Brooksbank, also 28, exchanged vows in the second major royal wedding of the year, his official bio has been released on his father-in-law’s website.
“Jack was born in St. Thomas’s Hospital on 3rd May, 1986 weighing 8lbs 1oz just 15 minutes past midnight,” the surprisingly intimate bio begins. “He was christened at The Guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks on 26th September, 1986.”
Brooksbank, who works with the Supporting Wounded Veterans charity, for which his father is the Executive Director, also turns out to be quite the outdoorsman and sports fan.
“His hobbies are mainly sporting, including skiing, tennis and football,” the bio continues. “He is a keen Chelsea FC supporter. He loves watching live sporting events, as well as visiting the theatre and cinema.”
According to the bio, Brooksbank and his family have been going to Cornwall every year since he was younger. There, he would “enthusiastically surf, rock climb and swim in the sea.”
The bio also points toward the ways in which Princess Eugenie has had a positive impact on his life view. “Since meeting Princess Eugenie he has developed a keen interest in contemporary art and, whenever possible, will attend functions with her and is learning a great deal about art.”
Brooksbank is a brand ambassador for George Clooney and Rande Gerber’s formerly-helmed tequila company Casamigos. As previously reported, he will not inherit a title in his marriage. Princess Eugenie, meanwhile, will continue to bear her title as Her Royal Highness as the granddaughter of the Queen.
Eugenie and Brooksbank married at St. George’s Chapel at in Windsor Castle on Friday, Oct. 12, and celebrated their love in not one, not two, but three different fun fetes, including one that was festival-themed.
Guests in attendance included a litany of A-list stars like Liv Tyler, James Blunt, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss.
