At last. Jennifer Lawrence finally opened up briefly about her fiancé, Cooke Maroney, after their February engagement.
The actress spoke about her future husband while chatting with Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, June 4. During the interview, the X-Men: Phoenix actress was asked about why Maroney was her person.
“Well, he’s just the best person I’ve ever met in my whole life,” Lawrence said. “It was a very, very easy decision.”
Lawrence’s team confirmed this winter that she was, indeed, engaged to the art director after the Oscar winner was spotted flashing a new diamond ring while out to dinner. More proof that they’re getting through the wedding planning checklist was confirmed last month when the couple threw an engagement party in New York.
The couple was first linked in early 2018, and made their relationship official in June.
