It’s really happening! Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence is engaged to her boyfriend Cooke Maroney, her rep confirmed to People Tuesday, February 5.
The Silver Linings Playbook actress was first spotted wearing a ring at a dinner at NYC hotspot Raoul’s alongside her new fiancé. Page Six was first to report the news of her “massive ring” and the celebratory atmosphere inside the upscale restaurant.
An observer shared more details with the paper about Lawrence and Maroney’s mood during the meal. “They seemed like they were celebrating,” the source said. “And people were talking about it.”
The couple has been linked publicly since June. This will be the first marriage for Lawrence, who previously dated actor Nicholas Hoult and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
