Take a page out of her playbook. Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence is the latest A-lister to go bridal on the red carpet.
Lawrence showed up to the Hollywood premiere of Faces Places on Wednesday, October 11, wearing a dainty, white wedding dress featuring breezy sleeves and a delicate lace overlay. The whimsical white look is a creation by New York-based designer Lauren Wells of her namesake company L. Wells Bridal.
“I was thrilled to see Jennifer wear my dress on the red carpet,” Wells tells The Knot. “She embodies the exact adventurous yet elegant style I’m going for with my designs.” Lawrence added her own interpretation to the whimsical piece with a wavy lob parted to the side, two decorative necklaces, and a berry pout.
Lawrence is wearing the “Alice” dress from the L. Wells Bridal 2018 collection. The piece is comprised of Chantilly lace on the bodice and features a sweet flutter sleeve made of the same fabric. The overlay, a soft, Swiss dot tulle, offsets an embroidered lace detail at the waistline.
The piece, made to order directly through the site, retails for $2,300.
