Ahead of Justin Timberlake’s Super Bowl halftime performance Sunday, February 4, the singer-songwriter is enjoying yet another cause for celebration this week: his 37th birthday. The Grammy winner’s wife, Jessica Biel, took to Instagram on Wednesday, January 31, to remind fans of his special day–his birthday–ahead of the big game this weekend.
“A picture says a thousand words,” Biel wrote, alongside a loved-up snapshot with her husband. “And thank goodness because there aren’t enough to express ALL the aspects of my love and respect for you.”
Timberlake will perform before millions of spectators worldwide on Sunday during halftime as the Philadelphia Eagles face the New England Patriots in Minneapolis. Two days before the show, his new album will drop–and his wife is ecstatic for what’s to come.
“Here’s to a spectacular year ahead,” she continued on Instagram. “I’m so proud of all you’ve accomplished and all that is ahead for you. plus you’re a super hot dad. A ninja dad. A kiddie teeth brushing, Jedi sleep mind tricking, intimidating dad voice disciplining SUPER HOT DAD. I love you, you hot dad.. I’m here, right by your side, OG fan girl #1. Happy birthday, my beloved. Now go crush it this weekend at SB LII.”
According to Eater, the couple celebrated his birthday with an intimate meal at a French restaurant in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota, on Tuesday. After Biel and Timberlake wrapped the meal (complete with foie gras and oysters), the staff at the restaurant, Meritage, serenaded the Man of the Woods artist with the birthday song.
“It’s going to be good,” Biel previously teased of Timberlake’s Super Bowl performance. “I guess I could be a little bit biased, but I think he puts on the best show of anybody. I’m just excited for him to have a really incredible place to perform and play some great stuff.”
