Safe to say that Jessica Biel is having quite the time of her life! The Sinner actress made quite the entrance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday, September 14—and later revealed that she’s had a good amount of practice.
Biel entered the soundstage from the back of the audience, with Dirty Dancing’s “Time of Your Life” blasting over the speakers. The actress flashed a big smile as she danced her way down to the stage and then cha-cha’d with Stephen “tWitch” Boss for a few beats before they separated and readied themselves for the inevitable lift.
“Oh my God, that was fantastic!” DeGeneres exclaimed as the 35-year-old actress made her way over for a hug afterward. “I mean, someone now has to top that entrance. That’s the best entrance we’ve ever had.”
An ecstatic Biel gave credit where credit is due, noting that she makes husband Justin Timberlake “do stuff like that” all the time. “In the pool, outside of the pool,” she said. “It’s a little easier [in the pool], yeah.”
Later in the show, Biel revealed that when it comes to matters of cooking, she likes to defer to Timberlake—especially if it involves breakfast. “I’m not a great cook, but I do like to attempt,” she said, adding of the highly Instagrammable fruits and veggies from her garden, “We use them. I just don’t use them. I eat them.”
Last month, Biel took part in a Reddit AMA that yielded some surprising answers. One user asked the actress point-blank whether she was “team Backstreet Boys or team *NSYNC” back in the day. (Before he was a solo artist, Timberlake made a name for himself as one member of mega boy band *NSYNC).
“I was such a theater nerd at that time that I literally wasn’t listening to either of those groups,” she said. “I was listening to soundtracks, like Rent and old 50’s/60’s music. I can be a little off on my timing. But if I had been cool, DUH, NSYNC all the way, baby!”
Biel and Timberlake met in 2007 through mutual friends and married in October 2012. They share son Silas together. Watch the video above.
