Lucky in love! Jessica Simpson‘s husband, Eric Johnson, is clearly a romantic at heart! The former NFL football player showered his wife with affection on Friday, November 11, to commemorate the couple’s sixth engagement anniversary.
Johnson, 37, sent a beautiful (and enormous!) flower arrangement to his bride, along with a heartfelt note, which Simpson, 36, couldn’t help but share with fans on social media.
“To Jess Happy 11/11 Thanks for saying yes after only 6 months. It started all this. I love you, Eric,” the love note read.
After posting a snap of her husband’s sweet words on Instagram, Simpson followed up with a beautiful shot of her vibrant flowers.
On the morning of the duo’s anniversary, the mom of two shared a screenshot of her phone, which captured the November 11 date and the time of 11:11. “6 years ago I said “YES” to forever #LOVE,” she penned alongside the image.
The engagement anniversary came just over four months after Johnson and Simpson celebrated two years of marriage. The couple married on July 5, 2014, in Montecito, California.
The two are proud parents to daughter Maxwell, 4, and son Ace, 3. Simpson regularly posts photos of the cuties on social media. Most recently, she shared a photo of the family of four dressed up for Halloween.

“When your kids are old enough to choose their own costumes,” she captioned the image, which featured she and Johnson dressed as Sandy and Danny Zuko from Grease and the kids in colorful costumes. “#HappyHalloween from my parrot and octopus.”
