It was a big bang bash for Jim Parsons and Todd Spiewak, who married this weekend inside the famed Rainbow Room in New York City. Still glowing from the lavish wedding ceremony and reception, the Big Bang Theory actor took to social media on Monday, May 15, to share more inside snapshots from the party, documented by photographer Amber Gress.
Parsons opted to share the first photo on Instagram–a photo of himself holding hands with Spiewak moments after exchanging vows– and captioned it with his wedding date, “5.13.17.”

Parsons and Spiewak both wore coordinating Tom Ford tuxedos to their wedding—the actor in a velvet oxblood jacket, and Spiewak dashing in a white, tailored version. “Reception, first dance…” Parsons wrote, alongside a slideshow of him sharing his first dance with his husband.
Finally, rounding out the images was a post about the couple’s wedding planner Melissa McNeeley. “She’s our best friend, she was our wedding planner, she was our officiant and she played all three parts brilliantly this past Saturday,” Parsons wrote. “Thank you and love you, @melissamcneeley (that Chuppah ain’t bad, either, @doan_ly !)”
Like other vendors and those integral to the wedding, McNeeley took to social media to congratulate the newlyweds. “It takes a lot of nerve to stand next to these handsome guys wearing a tuxedo but I’m a nervy broad, what can I say?” she wrote. “I’m also super duper grateful for the honor of officiating the wedding of these two, who are the dearest friends in the world. I couldn’t have stepped out of my planning shoes to enjoy this glorious day without my right hand woman @bkbornandraised, who is a miracle.”
Parsons and Spiewak have been together for 15 years. The CBS star quietly came out as gay in a New York Times profile in May 2012.
