A message from Mr. and Mrs. Vuolo! After a very brief courtship, TLC reality star Jinger Duggar and former soccer pro Jeremy Vuolo married on Saturday, November 5. Following the big reveal, the newlyweds shared a message with their fans on TLC’s website.
“We are overjoyed to announce that we are now husband and wife,” Vuolo, 29, said at the reception following the ceremony.
His bride, meanwhile, looked beautiful in her sleeved lace dress and veil. “It’s incredible just being at this place,” Duggar, 22, added. “We prayed about it for so long. And just longed for the day that we were married. And now God has given us our hearts’ desires.”
The couple exchanged vows before 1,000 guests in the Duggar family’s native state of Arkansas. The bride’s matron of honor was none other than her sister and best friend, Jessa Seewald. The groom’s brother served as best man. According to TLC, the entire room teared up during the couple’s ceremony on Saturday.
Their wedding followed a whirlwind summertime courtship. The couple first met through Jessa last May, and announced their courtship in June. In July, Vuolo proposed to his love with a surprise rooftop proposal in New York City.
“I think we’re excited just to begin life together,” Vuolo concluded in the video. “It’s been an incredible journey so far.”
Duggar added: “We’re so grateful for you all.”
