Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo are married! The Counting On stars made their union official on Saturday, November 5, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
According to People, the reality stars exchanged vows in front of nearly 1,000 guests at the Cathedral of the Ozarks at John Brown University. Jinger’s sister, Jessa Duggar Seewald, served as matron of honor, and Jeremy’s brother, Charles, was best man.
The groom’s father, Chuck, officiated the lavish ceremony. “This was one of the most touching parts of the wedding,” the couple told People, “for Jeremy’s father to be able to officiate our wedding, standing with us and praying for us on this special day.”
To celebrate their union, the newlyweds will make honeymoon memories Down Under. “We plan to get away for a couple of days alone together, and then will be leaving the country for an amazing trip to New Zealand and Australia,” the lovebirds shared. “We are so excited and so thankful for this amazing trip to start our marriage together. Most of all, we are just excited that we will be together … married!”
Jeremy, 28, and Jinger, 22, were eager to share their wedding news with fans. “YES! We are married!” they penned on their website, alongside their stunning wedding photo. “We are so thankful to God, our parents and our wonderful families and friends for celebrating this day with us and for helping us arrive at this moment in time. We love that we now are beginning our lives together as one, before God.”
The reality stars pulled-off their extravagant ceremony in record time. Jeremy proposed to Jinger this past July, just a month after the duo officially announced their courtship. Both parties were looking for long-term love when they started courting. “As opposed to a more casual dating relationship, we really want to honor the Lord and be very intentional about how we move forward,” Jeremy explained in the video announcement.
“I am completely in love,” Jinger said when the couple’s courtship was featured on Counting On. “We’re thinking fast track is always better.”
The bride’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, publicly congratulated the newlyweds in a post-ceremony video. After announcing the union, Jinger’s father gushed about his daughter and son-in-law. “Jinger is one of the most dynamic, beautiful, Godly, girls that I know,” he said, “and Jeremy is such a passionate, loving, kind spiritual leader.” Looking at his wife, he added, “Mama, they’re a dynamic duo.”
“Congratulations, Jeremy and Jinger Vuolo,” Michelle said excitedly. “We love you guys!”
“Match made in heaven,” her husband concluded.
Duggar fans can watch the couple’s wedding on Counting On: Jinger’s Wedding, airing Tuesday, November 15, at 8 p.m. ET on TLC.
