Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo left it to the pros to help execute their special day. In a new Counting On clip shared by TLC this week, the couple’s wedding designer reveals some of the special details that went into their personalized ceremony.

The bride and groom got married last November inside an ornate cathedral on the campus of John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. In true Duggar family tradition, the nuptials were extra-large with more than 1,000 guests in attendance.

The person to orchestrate the behind-the-scenes details of the large ceremony was longtime family friend Cindy, who also happens to be childhood friends with the mother of the bride, Michelle Duggar.

“When we arrived at the chapel the morning of our wedding, we were so surprised to see how much work Ms. Cindy had done over night,” Jinger says in the clip. B-roll footage shows the couple marveling at the transformed space, which is still coming together with final touches.

Cindy then hands Jinger her bouquet. “I’d been waiting for so long,” the bride remarks as she gently touches the floral arrangement. The wedding designer made sure to implement custom elements and designs including a wedding crest—a cursive “V” for Vuolo. “I completely trusted her judgement,” Duggar adds.

She also had soccer confetti tossed down the aisle to pay homage to Vuolo’s past career as a professional soccer player. The former athlete is now a pastor.

“It’s an honor to be here and it’s an honor to do this for Jinger,” Cindy remarks. “It’s just been a real blessing… She’s so dear and her mom is so dear. It’s just a special day and it’s a bittersweet day.”

The designer then gets misty-eyed as she looks back on how much Jinger has grown. “She’s merciful, she’s tender, she’s definitely one of my favorite people,” Cindy remarks.
