Happy anniversary to these Fixer Uppers. Friday, May 31, marks fifteen years of marriage for beloved former HGTV personalities Chip and Joanna Gaines.
To mark the special occasion, Joanna took to Instagram to post a throwback from her wedding day, a sweet snap of the pair riding off in their carriage. “It’s been a good fifteen years @chipgaines,” she wrote. “Here’s to fifty more…”
The couple married in 2003 in Waco, Texas. They then embarked on their honeymoon, which started in New York City and went through upstate New York and eventually into New England. Most recently, Chip and Jo took a mini road trip through the backroads of Clifton, Texas, which reminded the pair of that exact honeymoon.
“The beginning of our drive reminded me of our honeymoon, when we road-tripped up the New England coast, stopping in small towns and taking part in whatever happened to be that city’s claim to fame,” Joanna shared in The Magnolia Journal. “That was probably our favorite trip ever.”
The two, who share their Magnolia empire, which encompasses a restaurant, memoirs and even, a home line with Target, are currently expecting their fifth child together.
