Westeros is abuzz with engagement announcements these days. Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner is engaged to singer Joe Jonas, the couple announced Sunday, October 15.
Both Turner, 21, and Jonas, 28, posted photos on Instagram of her hand—pear-shaped diamond ring included—resting over his.
“I said yes,” the HBO star captioned the snapshot. Jonas confirmed, “She said yes.”
Jonas’ equally-famous younger brother Nick Jonas also took to social media to revel in the welcome family news. “Ahh! Congratulations to my brother… and sister in law to be on your engagement,” the “Jealous” anthem hitmaker tweeted. “I love you both so much. @joejonas @SophieT.”
The couple started dating in 2016, and most recently, seemingly started co-parenting a Siberian Husky together. “Meet the newest addition to the krew @porkybasquiat,” Turner announced, tagging her beau.

The British actress is the most recent Game of Thrones cast member to get engaged. Several weeks ago, her on-screen sibling, Kit Harington, announced his engagement to their former co-star, Rose Leslie. Prior to that, Lena Headey–who plays Queen Cersei on the show, a mortal enemy of Turner’s character, Sansa Stark–slipped in a New York Times profile that she was also engaged.
