He has a friend in his wife. Justin Theroux had even more to share about his high-profile marriage to Jennifer Aniston while catching up with United Airlines’ Rhapsody magazine in its April 2017 issue.
The Leftovers actor reflected about how marrying the Friends alum transformed his way of thinking. “Marriage makes the small things much smaller and the big things small,” Theroux noted in the interview. “You have an ally. It’s good to have someone have your back.”
For example this past Tuesday, April 4, when the beloved actress joined Theroux at the season 3 premiere of his HBO series.

Along with the benefits of marriage, the Lego Ninjago actor recently spoke out about his private wedding ceremony to Aniston at their Bel Air mansion in 2015. “It’s so much more special when it’s just your closest friends and family,” Theroux told Entertainment Tonight last week. “It’s lovely. We wanted it to be a peaceful environment. [We didn’t] want it to be hectic.”
As recalled, longtime friend Jimmy Kimmel officiated the ceremony, while only their closest family members and friends witnessed the beautiful moment between the famous pair.
“We were determined to keep it just private and to ourselves,” Aniston added months after the wedding in 2015 to Yahoo! “And the thing is, we haven’t even seen pictures.” (The 70-person wedding was shot by celeb photographer Terry Richardson.) “It was just everything we wanted it to be.”
