Blissful–even five years later. Justin Timberlake and his wife, Jessica Biel, marked five years of marriage on Thursday, October 19, and both commemorated the occasion by sharing sweet messages on social media.
The singer, 36, shared a clip of himself in the studio–with a twist. “#TBT to a late night freestyle session on a break in the studio – YES I’ve been back in the studio cooking!” he wrote. “But, today is even more special for me because five years ago, on this day, I became the luckiest man in the world when I exchanged vows with my best friend. This song was our first dance.”
The tune, a classic by Leon Russell from 1970, is entitled “A Song for You.” Five years after sharing that first dance moment with his wife, Timberlake uploaded several clips of himself serenading his wife while other artists played along.
“To my beautiful @jessicabiel : You have taught me so much about what a true love means,” he concluded. “I can’t put into words what these last five years have meant to me, so… ‘Listen to the melody ‘cause my love is in there hiding…”’ #Happy5thAnniversaryWifey#ASongForYou.”
The final image of his slideshow featured a photo of Timberlake giving his wife of five years a sweet smooch in a tunnel. (Naturally Biel’s beautiful engagement ring from Timberlake was also on display.)
The actress, meanwhile, was clearly touched by her husband’s gesture, and also took to Instagram to express her gratitude and affection. “My tender heart is yours, now until forever,” she wrote.
How lucky am I? Even if he’s initially skeptical, he always gets extra for me. #5

Five years ago, the couple married in Puglia, Italy, at the Borgo Egnazia resort. “It was a fantasy,” Biel told People at the time after she and her husband both shared their wedding photos exclusively with the magazine. “It was magical,” Timberlake added.
The couple share a sweet toddler named Silas.
