Justin Timberlake took to Instagram to celebrate wife Jessica Biel’s birthday on Sunday, March 3, by sharing a sweet message for his wife accompanied by a slideshow of never-before-seen photos of the couple goofing around at home.
“My partner in this thang called life… you are the most wonderful human I have ever met,” Timberlake wrote on Biel’s 37th birthday. “You make me smile, laugh, and love life more than I knew I could. I cherish every moment with you and can’t wait to spend so many more years doing the same… but, new. Happy Birthday, you GOD OF ALL SMOKE SHOWS!! Love, Your Huz.”
The couple married in 2012 after five years of dating. “When I met Jess, it was undeniable how beautiful she is,” Timberlake wrote in his 2018 book Hindsight: & All the Things I Can’t See in Front of Me. “We were at a surprise party in Hollywood at a speakeasy kind of bar, a private club, and we were standing around in a group of people.”
“I made some sort of sarcastic comment, really dry,” he recalled. “Nobody got it except her. She laughed, and I noticed, all of a sudden, and in the way where you wonder if a person’s like you, if they have a very dry, dark sense of humor, too.”
Timberlake also revealed that his smash song “Mirrors” was written for Biel. “We were living together at the time,” he wrote. “We weren’t engaged yet. In fact, it was years before I proposed… She’s become a huge influence in my life, and I have such admiration for her. … She’s a very good writer. She’s a poet. She’s a tremendous actor. She’s funny.”
