Barefoot and so in love. Country superstar Kacey Musgraves finally unveiled the first photos from her wedding to Ruston Kelly on Tuesday, October 17, and revealed that she opted to go without shoes for the backyard occasion in Tennessee.
The “Follow Your Arrow” hitmaker, 29, posted an image of herself holding hands with her new husband moments after being pronounced husband and wife this weekend. The ground, littered with confetti, served as a colorful walkway for the barefoot bride and the groom.

“Saturday, in a sacred place where two rivers meet and join together, I married my best friend..barefoot and surrounded by the deepest kind of magic and love that exists,” Musgraves captioned the joyous moment. “I’ve never felt so tranquil and happy. We made our promises to each other under the trees and then drank and danced into the night. We couldn’t have done any of it without the help of our wonderful families and amazing friends. For the wedding itself, Musgraves went for a long-sleeve, lace gown with a plunging neckline from Berta’s Fall/Winter 2018 collection. Her husband looked handsome in a green velvet suit jacket and black pants.

Photographer Natalie Barrett, who previously captured another Musgraves wedding, documented the heartwarming day. The couple wed outside of their newly-refurbished home down South after getting engaged on Christmas Eve last December.
