Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe and her fiance, Shawn Booth, are focused on building their future together–but no set wedding plans just yet!
Bristowe revealed this week that she and her soon-to-be-husband are putting the necessary measures in place to ensure they’ll one day have the option to parent a houseful of children. “I’m taking control of my future!” the former reality star, 31, shared on Twitter earlier this month. “As a woman there’s always pressure to have babies, and this puts my mind at ease for when [I’m] ready.”
On Wednesday, March 22, the season 11 Bachelorette was eager to share her stance on Good Morning America.
“I think a lot of women feel pressure to have kids, especially when you get engaged,” she speculated.”’When’s the wedding?’ and ‘When are you gonna have babies?’ “And for me, I don’t want that pressure on myself… This is kind of a backup plan for us, and for us to feel comfortable. It’s kind of like insurance.”

Booth, 29, who works as a traveling personal trainer with his company, CitySTRONG, hopes to have a big family in the future. “We always say we want to have probably five [children], but we’ll talk after we have one,” he joked.
Along with Bristowe and Booth’s baby news, Bachelor Nation is anxiously awaiting updates on several other couples.
JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers
Season 12 Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher and her fiance, Jordan Rodgers, just celebrated their first anniversary, and Fletcher has given some thought to the couple’s upcoming wedding. “I have the biggest family and I know my mom has the largest list of people to invite already,” she told The Knot and other outlets last summer. “I like an outdoor, rustic wedding.”

Like Fletcher and Rodgers, the most recent Bachelor, Nick Viall, who got engaged to Vanessa Grimaldi on the season 21 finale on March 13, is in no rush to walk down the aisle.

“I don’t think we have a set date,” he said in a post-finale interview with The Knot and other reporters. “We’re just being realistic about our relationship and things that we’re most looking forward to or the things that we [haven’t had] an opportunity to do yet… Those simple things, like [walking] together in public [and] going to the grocery store.”
Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell
Season 20 Bachelor, Ben Higgins, and his fiancee, Lauren Bushnell, jumped right into the wedding planning process, but their plans came to a screeching halt while filming their reality show, Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?, last year. While the pair continue to take things slow, they still plan to wed one day.

At The Knot gala last fall, the lovebirds were open about their uncertainty as to whether they will opt for an intimate ceremony or a big bash. “I think something in between,” Bushnell said. “[Ben wants] a really big wedding. I would be fine doing a destination wedding. So, hopefully we’ll meet somewhere in the middle.”
