Johnny Galecki was one proud TV husband when he watched his on-screen wife Kaley Cuoco marry Karl Cook in real life on Saturday, June 30.
The Big Bang Theory actor, 43, took to Instagram to post a candid photo of himself holding hands and exchanging a sweet moment with the bride. “Couldn’t be happier for my fake wife @normancook and @mrtankcook whose words brought us all to tears last night,” Galecki captioned the black-and-white snapshot. “So much love for you both.”
Galecki’s character, Leonard Hofstadter, is married to Cuoco’s Penny Hofstadter in the smash CBS sitcom.
He also posted another pic with the bride and groom, though he comically cropped out Cuoco. “Deepest congrats to the newlyweds, Galecki joked. “Love you both so much @normancook & @mrtankcook So moved by tonight.”
Cuoco and Cook exchanged vows at sunset in a breathtaking ceremony held at the groom’s ranch in California. The bride looked resplendent in a custom, caped Reem Acra gown, and her sister, Briana Cuoco, officiated the nuptials. The couple included their beloved dogs and pets in the ceremony.
Like his wife, Cook took to social media to share photos from the ceremony, including one snapshot of the pair sharing their first kiss as husband and wife in front of a gorgeous floral installation. “Good morning honey, I love you, and I’m sorry. I am still processing the greatest night of my life marrying the love of my life!” he expressed. “I mean god damn that dress was amazing!”
Footage from Cuoco’s walk down the aisle shows Cook visibly getting excited and applauding upon first glance. See it here.
