Would it really be a wedding without a few furry witnesses to say, “Woof woof”? Kaley Cuoco is over the moon about her upcoming wedding to beau Karl Cook, and though the couple hasn’t ironed out all the details just yet, she does know that she’ll be adding some of her own pets to the guest list.
The Big Bang Theory star, 32, is jumping on the wedding trend that allows four-legged guests to take part in the big day. In 2017, The Knot saw a rise in the inclusion of animals in ceremonies as part and even included it as part of its annual trend report. Animal lovers excitedly welcomed their pets and other, newer fuzzy faces in their ceremonies, everything ranging from bunnies to llamas to donkeys, and the pet-friendly atmosphere continues to grow.
“We’re totally going to get married,” Cuoco told E! News. “We are planning it. We are thinking about it. I can’t wait. I don’t want it to be much longer. That’s the truth. I really can’t wait.”
The couple, who got engaged last November on Cuoco’s 32nd birthday, are “so happy and in love,” the sitcom star said. “He is as excited as I am,which is sweet. I finally found my soulmate, so we’re ready to do it.”
Cuoco and Cook, who is also an equestrian, first sparked rumors of romance back in March 2016, but the couple played coy on their relationship, though Cuoco did post an Instagram photo of Cook the next month with the telling caption: “That’s what happy looks like.”
Fans were ecstatic when the pair finally made their red carpet debut a few months later, in September 2016. From there, the couple were inseparable, and frequently shared images of each other on their social media accounts.
It doesn’t hurt at all that Cook’s last name already aligns with the other love of Cuoco’s life, her beloved pup, Norman, after whom she created her Instagram handle (@normancook). A match made in heaven, indeed!
