Fantastic Four co-stars Jamie Bell and Kate Mara are married, the couple revealed on Monday, July 17.
Both Mara and Bell took to social media to share the first photo from their wedding—a hazy-but-ethereal shot of themselves kissing. “Nuptials,” the bride captioned the photo.
Bell then added on Twitter, “Mr. and Mrs. B.”
The couple’s rep confirmed to The Knot in January that the stars were engaged. The two first met on the set of Fantastic Four back in 2014. Mara played the classic character Sue Storm while Bell portrayed “Thing.” They confirmed their relationship at the 2015 Met Gala.
Leading up the wedding, the Megan Leavey actress posted a photo of her to-be-husband on social media. “HOT in LA,” the future bride wrote.
This will be the first marriage for Mara, who previously portrayed a young investigative reporter in Netflix’s House of Cards. Most recently, she and Bell hit their first red carpet together as an engaged couple.
“In our business, it’s always a little bit tricky to navigate things because it’s not like a normal job where you know where you’re going to be the next year, let alone the next day. You just don’t,” Mara previously told People. “You constantly have to shift things, and communicate. Like asking, ‘What’s your deal with that show or with this movie,’ to make sure that you actually can see each other.”
