Eloise approves. Model Kate Upton is accustomed to having her pick at the best offerings out there, so it’s only fitting that the 25-year-old cover girl celebrated her bachelorette party this weekend with a luxe stay at New York City’s famed Plaza Hotel.
The Other Woman actress took to Instagram on Monday, October 23, to shares a few photos from her bachelorette party, which included coordinating hats and outfits, fluffy white bathrobes paired with spa excursions, and an overall swanky stay at the renowned hotel featured in Kay Thompson’s beloved work.
The future bride, who’s currently planning her wedding to Houston Astros MVP Justin Verlander, shared a photo of herself linking arms with four of her maids in front of the hotel’s entrance. That night, all of the girls wore black pieces with coordinating hats—the bridesmaids in black hats inscribed with “squad” in glitter and Upton in the center with a white hat that read “bride.”
“No better place to relax, rejuvenate and celebrate,” the future bride wrote.
Along with a night out, the ladies enjoyed a spa experience at the new Guerlain Spa within the property. According to Fairmont Hotels, which owns the Plaza, bachelorette party experiences can be customized on-site. A rep tells The Knot that bridal parties will oftentimes work with the hospitality director of the hotel to curate unique experiences. Options range from a “Grown-Up Eloise Cocktail Party” to a “Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams” theme in the Rose Club.

Brides and pals can get primped ahead of their weddings not only at Guerlain, but the Warren Tricomi hair salon, which is also located within the hotel.
Upton has been especially busy this month after her fiance, Verlander, and the Houston Astros won the American League Champion Series in Houston this weekend.
While the couple’s exact wedding date remains unknown, Upton has been especially vocal about being healthy ahead of her big day. “I’m not trying to be fit for a number on a scale,” the model told Yahoo! Style in May. “Whenever I’m happiest, I try to maintain that. I don’t need a number.”
She’s also been outspoken about finding wedding planning stressful. (Hopefully, she has a planner to help!) “I’m really excited about the engagement and I’m really excited about getting married. It’s just the wedding planning sucks,” Upton told Extra in August. “It’s gonna be a good date no matter what. As long as we’re surrounded by friends and family.”
