Kate Upton and Justin Verlander are kicking off November in the best way(s) possible. The supermodel and the 2017 World Series champion are set to get hitched this weekend in Italy, according to People magazine.
It’s the perfect way to celebrate another big milestone: Verlander’s first World Series win with the Houston Astros Wednesday night. The pair were spotted locking lips on the field just moments after the Astros upset the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 7.

Upton, 25, and Verlander, 34, have been dating since early 2014 but have largely kept the details of their relationship out of the spotlight. When the pair got engaged in 2016, Upton only subtly announced the news by way of a stunning one-of-a-kind ring at that year’s Met Gala.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model has previously teased on her Instagram that she’s keeping things light and fun with her wedding planning: “fun, party, tequila and food,” she wrote on Instagram.
But, in a subsequent interview with People, Upton admitted that planning was actually a tad more stressful than she’d hoped. “We haven’t done any details,” she told the magazine in February. “We are getting married, but it’s really hard. Everyone’s always like, invite whoever you want, do whatever you want, don’t feel bad about it, but you feel bad!”
As for a honeymoon destination? Upton said in February that her dream would be to go on a safari, but that Verlander hasn’t necessarily picked up on her hints.
“Every year I tell him I want to go on a safari and every year for a gift he’ll get me, like, a stuffed animal tiger,” she said at the time. “Or like, flowers from Africa, not the same. “[He’ll say], ‘Like, you want to go to the zoo?’”
