Katherine Schwarzenegger had more than one custom gown for her wedding day. The bride of the moment, who married Chris Pratt this weekend in an intimate ceremony, stepped out in two one-of-a-kind Armani Privé dresses for both her wedding ceremony and the reception.
Fitting for the environment at the exclusive San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, Schwarzenegger first stepped out for the ceremony in a crinoline lace bustier column gown that featured a lace train. The bride paired her dress with Armani Privé satin heels in white.
She ended up swapping into another custom Armani Privé gown for the reception, as evidenced by the photos taken by John & Joseph Photography. According to Armani, the reception gown was an ivory silk satin dress that featured draped sleeves and button detailing down the back of the plunging back silhouette. She paired the gown with an ivory version of the satin ceremony heels, which were also by the same designer.
Pratt took to Instagram this week to share a photo from the nuptials alongside a heartfelt message.
“Yesterday was the best day of our lives!” he expressed alongside the first official wedding portrait. “We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives. We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us and grateful to Mr. Giorgio Armani who created a once in a lifetime dress for Katherine to wear and for me, the perfect suit. This morning we feel nothing but blessed.”
It has been a whirlwind year for the pair, who started dating in June 2018, and got engaged in January 2019.
