For her wedding to Matthew Rodgers, Arrow actress Katie Cassidy worked with bridal brand Pronovias to create her dream gown. The end product, which resulted in a bridal coat over a custom dress, took more than 330 hours to craft at the brand’s Barcelona headquarters.
Cassidy wore the coat for her walk down the aisle in her wedding, held this weekend at Sunset Key in Florida. The ivory-colored piece by Atelier Pronovias was comprised of French lace and silk organza that draped over the coat’s plunging V-neck and sleeves. It also included silk organza buttons at the waist with scallop detailing along the neckline and the sleeve cuffs.
For a modern touch, the coat was embellished with pockets. According to the company, the piece was made in-house at the Pronovias Atelier in Spain.

“Truly was beyond stunning,” Cassidy wrote on Instagram Monday. “This GORGEOUS dramatic coast is exactly what I had envisioned and the perfect transformation from beach to formal wear on a moments notice! What a MAGICAL night! THANK YOU!”
Underneath the resplendent piece, Cassidy wore a custom mermaid gown, the Rima, which was comprised of ivory French lace and hand-sewn appliques.
Cassidy, who starred briefly on Gossip Girl, announced her engagement to Rodgers in June 2017.
