Way too adorable! Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, shared a throwback clip of themselves revisiting the chapel in Las Vegas where they married more than 20 years ago. In the old segment that aired on Live with Kelly! on Thursday, June 30, the couple remembered their wedding and the circumstances leading up to the occasion.

“It’s been 20 years and it’s gone by so fast,” said Consuelos, who was co-hosting with his wife on Thursday. “And one thing that hasn’t changed is you look exactly the same.”

The special segment was taped several years ago, but producers brought it back from the archives as a reminder that true love endures.

The clip opens with Ripa and Consuelos sharing their journey to marriage. “This show has a lot to do with us getting back together,” Ripa notes, while mentioning that they had briefly split while dating. The former soap stars had previously agreed to appear on Live! With Regis, though they weren’t on speaking terms when that time rolled around.

“We went for a walk in the park. I convinced her to come back to my apartment,” Consuelos then recalls. “We had pizza and wine and I asked her to marry me.”

Ripa chimes in: “And I said, ‘Ask me when you’re serious.’ And he said, ‘I am serious. Let’s go to Vegas tomorrow and get married.’ …I said yes.”

The stars, who met and fell in love on the set of All My Children, chose the famed Chapel of the Bells in Sin City to officially marry.“We went inside. It was very little. They were very sweet. They were very nice people,” Ripa reveals. “We stood there absolutely terrified. We walked down the aisle together.”

When Ripa and Consuelos arrive at the chapel, the talk show host breaks down on her husband’s shoulder. “To me, this place is heaven on earth,” she says to viewers in the emotional clip.

They then go inside to greet the same people who helped orchestrate their intimate ceremony in Vegas.

“It’s good luck for sure,” Ripa concluded to her audience on Thursday. Watch above.
