Unapologetically, country singer Kelsea Ballerini celebrated her upcoming wedding to Morgan Evans with a picture-perfect bridal shower.
The “Dibs” hitmaker and her inner circle, including Lady Antebellum lead singer Hillary Scott, posted photos from the Pinterest-perfect affair, which included a plethora of flower crowns, muted colors, and flower crowns. Ballerini shared a slideshow that opened with a photo of herself surrounded by loved ones in an open field.
Each guest held balloons and enveloped Ballerini, who took center stage in a bohemian-style white dress with a dainty slit. “Celebrated Love today,” the singer wrote. “My heart is so full it’s going to bust.” The fete was held at a home and decorated fittingly with white, pink and rose gold balloons. Greenery, wheat and pink flowers added pops of color into the space, which also was dressed up with lanterns and a cute chalkboard sign set on the back porch.
After a themed game involving toilet paper, the bride and a select group of her pals jumped into the pool in the backyard.
Ballerini’s mentor and longtime industry supporter Scott, who’s expecting twins with her husband, also shared a few inside shots from the sweet affair. “…and the girls had fun too!” the Lady Antebellum standout wrote. “They already love their auntie @kelseaballerini so much! This may be one of my fav pics ever! #happilyevansafter.” Ballerini spent quality time with Scott and her crew this summer after joining the band on their You Look Good World Tour.
The future bride and Evans got engaged over the 2016 holiday season. “This morning, 9 months and 13 days later, he got down on one knee in the kitchen while I was burning pancakes and asked me to marry him,” the “Love Me Like You Mean It” singer shared at the time. “Loving him has been the greatest gift of my life. And now I get to do it for life. #HECALLEDDIBS.”
