Kim Kardashian prefers to live her life with #noregrets, but the reality star and makeup maven admitted to a tiny mistake from her 2013 engagement to Kanye West.
The mom of two joined makeup artist Patrick Starrr on his YouTube channel last week when their talk turned personal. Starrr asked Kardashian about her biggest Instagram regret, and the reality star’s response was rather unexpected.
“One of my biggest photo regrets is when I got engaged, I had the shortest nails when I showed my picture,” she told Starrr. “And I was like, ‘Ugh, it would have looked so much better with long nails.’”
The black-and-white photo in question shows Kardashian’s hand outstretched against the backdrop of San Francisco’s AT&T Park, where West famously dropped to one knee and proposed in October 2013. While her fingernails are noticeably shorter than usual, the focal point of the photo is, obviously, the enormous Lorraine Schwartz sparkler on her ring finger.
Kardashian’s ring was a giant Lorraine Schwartz D flawless cushion cut ring that boasted a reported 15 carats and was worth an estimated $8 million.
At their lavish wedding ceremony in Florence, Italy, the couple exchanged Lorraine Schwartz wedding bands and said their vows before a giant wall of flowers. Kardashian wore a long sleeve, lace-covered Givenchy gown for the ceremony and later changed into an embellished ivory Balmain dress for the reception.
West and Kardashian have been married since May 2014 and share two kids together: daughter North, 4, and son Saint, 1 year.
