It’s the little things! Kim Kardashian revealed the exact moment that she knew husband Kanye West was the one during a recent panel session at the Create & Cultivate summit in Los Angeles —and her answer is surprisingly relatable.
“I sleep with the heat on … 80 degrees and socks and a robe, every single night,” she said. “The first night I slept at Kanye’s house… I won’t say the date because I’ll get in trouble, but years and years ago, he slept with the heat on and socks, and I was like, ‘[Oh my God], I met my soulmate.’”
Kardashian, 37, and West, 40, have been married since May 2014 and dating since 2012 (though their friendship can be traced back further than that still). The pair have frequently spoken out about their feelings for one another and their uncanny connection.
Last fall, Kardashian even hinted that she may have developed feelings for the rapper while she was still married to ex Kris Humphries.
“I met him in 2002 or 2003,” she said during the Kardashian 10th Anniversary special in September. “He was recording a song with Brandy and I was her friend and vividly remember hanging out with him. Then they did a video together so I’d see him a few times.”
“I remember he was asking his friends, ‘Who is this Kim Kar-de-jon?’” she continued. “He didn’t know what my name was and it was really cute.”
When her marriage to Humphries fell apart, Kardashian said, West was there as a shoulder to lean on.
“After my break up, I was feeling really low and down, and he was like, ‘Just come to Paris and see my fashion show,’” she said. “He jokes that he put on this whole fashion show just to get a date with me.”
The superstar couple are parents to three little ones, including daughter North, 4, son Saint, 2, and daughter Chicago, just over one month old.
