She had a really good time! Twilight alum Kristen Stewart decided to join the growing crew of celebrity wedding crashers this weekend, when the actress stopped by the wedding of two random brides in Winnipeg, Canada.
The newlyweds, Kirsten and Kayleigh Jennings, chose to get married in a backyard wedding in one of their childhood homes. They then took the party to a nearby restaurant, where Stewart fortuitously was relaxing with her girlfriend Stella Maxwell.
“We were drinking and dancing and having a great time and we got word that Kristen Stewart and her girlfriend Stella Maxwell were in town,” Kirsten told BuzzFeed. “The people who were hosting the party for us came up and asked if it was okay if they came in and had a few drinks. We said, ‘Yeah, of course!'”
Kayleigh added to CBC News, “The owner came up to me, and he said, ‘Hey, is it okay if Kristen Stewart and her girlfriend, Stella, come and have a few drinks with you guys?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, totally! Yeah, no problem. Um, who is that?’”
The superstar actress and the model went from the patio to the dance floor, especially reveling in the festivities when the Beastie Boys played. “They kind of blended in seamlessly,” Kirsten continued to BuzzFeed. Kayleigh added, “They weren’t the center of attention, they didn’t take over the party at all, they just kind of melded.”
A selfie from the moment shows all four, plus a pal, on the dance floor having a grand time. Stewart has become familiar with Winnipeg while shooting the upcoming movie JT, which she’s currently starring in alongside Laura Dern, James Franco and Diane Kruger.
“They looked just like two normal girls. They look a little Hollywood, but if we didn’t know who they were, I don’t know if I would have known,” Kirsten concluded to CBC. “We said, ‘Hey, you know, come on and meet your guests and, you know, don’t segregate yourselves. Come and party.”
The stars stayed from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. while delighting in the party with the rest of the guests.
