Tres cute! Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler celebrated their third wedding anniversary this week, and she reveals exclusively to The Knot what they did to fete the occasion.
“We went to dinner at one of our favorite spots in Chicago called Blackbird,” says Cavallari, 29. “We had a four-course meal and a bottle of wine. I was a happy girl!”
Following the romantic dinner, the mom of three posted a photo with the Chicago Bears quarterback on Instagram, and included a sweet message about their marriage. “Happy anniversary to my man!” she wrote, alongside a pic of herself holding a glass of bubbly and blowing a kiss. Meanwhile, Cutler — whose bow-tie is undone — hilariously stares down the camera. “I truly love him more and more everyday and there’s no one else I would rather be on this wild ride with. #Sober #JayDoingHisBestBlueSteel.”
The pair married on June 7, 2013, and subsequently celebrated their honeymoon along Italy’s famed Amalfi Coast. This past Tuesday, a sentimental Cavallari posted a photo from that memorable trip and wrote: “Beautiful Positano is on my mind with my anniversary this week.”

She opens up to The Knot about her favorite memory from the honeymoon. “While in Tuscany, we went for a hot air balloon ride early one morning,” Cavallari recalls. “And it was the most beautiful and exhilarating experience I’ve ever had.”
The two are now parents to three young kids — sons Camden, 3, and Jax, 2, and their daughter Saylor, 6 months. Cavallari gushes about her youngest, saying: “She’s such a sweet, happy baby. And it melts my heart seeing Jay with her.”
Despite their hectic schedules, both are committed to spending quality time together — including couples therapy sessions. Cavallari made headlines this year when she credited marital counseling for saving her high-profile marriage, and detailed the process in her book, Balancing in Heels: My Journey to Health, Happiness, and Making It All Work.
She tells The Knot that the feedback from readers has been “really positive, luckily! I think it’s refreshing for other couples to know that we all have our own issues.”
