A paparazzi-worthy occasion! Lady Gaga shocked a newly married Japanese couple when she approached them after their NYC wedding on Monday, October 24. The “Perfect Illusion” singer, 30, was in Central Park’s Strawberry Fields with a film crew when she noticed the newlyweds.
TMZ caught the moment on-camera, which chronicles the bride’s adorable reaction when Gaga approaches her.
Although there was a language barrier between the Grammy Award-winning artist and the happy couple, it was immediately obvious that the newlyweds were fans of the global superstar. The bride squealed joyfully as Gaga gave her a hug, and when the singer attempted to say “I love you” in Japanese, the newlyweds were clearly impressed.
After asking the couple to pose for a photo, Gaga offered the bride a compliment. “You look so beautiful,” she said sincerely before adjusting the woman’s wedding gown.
“See, all you need is love, right?” Gaga asked the lovebirds, quoting the famous Beatles song. “Have a beautiful marriage,” she added.
After the sweet exchange, Gaga hitched a ride on the back of a bicycle, clad in a pink two-piece dress and stilettos.
