For Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, every moment together is heaven. The actor took to Instagram late Sunday, July 9, and posted a sweet selfie with his fiancée.
“My little angel and I,” Hemsworth wrote, alongside a photo of the two smiling together on a couch. Cyrus jokingly took issue with the photo, sharing it hours later on Instagram. “Why,” she simply captioned it.
The on-again couple made headlines last week after Cyrus posted a photo of their first-ever kiss to mark International Kissing Day. The stars, who memorably fell in love on the set of the 2010 film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ The Last Song, were engaged from 2012 to 2013.
They briefly went their separate ways for a few years until January 2016, when they reconciled during a holiday trip in Australia. Since then, they’ve been better than ever, once again spending quality time with both sides of their respective famous families.
Just this weekend, Cyrus even gave a shout-out to Chris Hemsworth for a gift. “My fav sunnnnies EVAAA!” she expressed on Instagram. “Thank uuuu @chrishemsworth. I promise they’ll never end up bent at the bottom of some random drawer! I LOVVVE!!!!!”

The couple now live together in Malibu, which inspired the title and concept (“Malibu”) of Cyrus’s latest single. The album is also, in part, an homage to Hemsworth and their on-again romance. “I needed to change so much,” she told Billboard in May. “And changing with someone else not changing like that is too hard. Suddenly you’re like, ‘I don’t recognize you anymore.’ We had to re-fall for each other.”
