These rumors came in and left like a Wrecking Ball. This week, it was speculated that on-again lovebirds Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had split, leaving fans everywhere devastated about the possibility that the Last Song co-stars had gone their separate ways yet again.

However, the two indirectly squashed the chatter by posting a video of themselves dancing together in a car on Thursday, July 19. Hemsworth, mid-dance, decides it’s the perfect time to scare the pop superstar and screams, which causes Cyrus to flinch. (His scare tactic is rather common in the relationship with the actor frequently sharing videos of himself shocking his fiancée.)

E! News reports that the two are more than okay as they’ve recently opted to maintain a low profile. A source told the outlet that the couple is “very much still together and have just been trying to be more private about their relationship. They have been spending a lot of their time being low-key in Nashville lately, and come home to Malibu often to spend time with family.”

In fact, Cyrus even named her single “Malibu” after rekindling her romance with Hemsworth in early 2016 following their 2013 split. They now live together along the scenic California coast.

“When Liam—he’s my boyfriend now—and I broke up for a minute, he wanted to get away from me,” Cyrus later told Howard Stern on his Sirius XM show last October. “He wanted to go to Malibu, and bought this house… He didn’t know it was the house I recorded my first album in… So now that we’re back together, my song ‘Malibu’ is about the house that I live in, in Malibu, which is where I recorded my first album.”

Hemsworth shot the cover art for Cyrus’ “Malibu” release.

Wedding planning, however, is not a priority for the pair. The same source told E! that it’s “been a continuous conversation over the years, but they have not locked in any set plans.”

“Their family would love for them to finally tie the knot, and are very excited about it, but no one is pushing them,” the insider added. “Miley is very simplistic when it comes to her ideas and does not want things to be an ordeal. Both Miley and Liam want to have children and they both want to be married but aren’t trying to rush the process.”
