When he looks at her! Liam Hemsworth shared a sweet, new throwback photo of himself with his fiancee, Miley Cyrus, on Thursday, September 7, bringing back memories from when the stars first met over six years ago.
The Australian actor shared a snap of himself shooting a scene from the 2010 film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ beloved novel The Last Song with his future fiancee. “Throwing it WAY back…” Hemsworth wrote, alongside the photo of himself shirtless with the once-brunette former Disney star. “What a ‘blur.’”
At the time the photo was taken, the couple’s on-screen love story was developing into a full-fledged, real-life romance. However, their relationship took an atypical turn in 2013, when they called off their engagement. A little over two years later, Cyrus and Hemsworth reconciled.
This isn’t the first photo Hemsworth has shared with his on-again love. The star posted another cute pic of Cyrus this past July, tending to their garden while her pet pig took the spotlight.

In an interview with GQ Australia this past May, Hemsworth discussed the break-up — and eventual reconciliation. “Of course it was hard, man,” the Independence Day: Resurgence star reflected. “But at the time, we were going in different directions and it’s just what needed to happen. We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time – we both needed that.”
He shared that many of his recent personal decisions have been driven by listening to himself — not to public opinion. “I make my decisions about what’s going to make me happy, what I think is right, and what I want to do. And I don’t worry too much outside of that,” he shared. “…I base all my decisions on what’s happening in front of me and I’m much happier by doing that.”
Like Hemsworth, new Voice coach Cyrus seems to be equally happy with her beau and their rekindled relationship.
