When you’re young and you fall in love with a celebrity the emotions you feel can be startling. When you find out that celebrity, in this case Maroon 5 frontman and NBC’s The Voice judge Adam Levine, is married to someone who isn’t you, the news is devastating.
In a recent viral Youtube video a toddler named Mila has a meltdown when she learns that the 2013 People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive, Levine, is off the market.
Mila’s mother carefully breaks the news of Levine’s wedding to her little girl in the back of the family’s car during the clip saying, “I don’t want you to be too sad, but I was going to tell you, Adam Levine got married.”
Mila’s immediate scream of “No!” and sudden sobbing response cuts to the core of young fangirls everywhere. We feel your pain, Mila.
Levine, 36, married Victoria’s Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo, 26, at Flora Farms in Los Cabos, Mexico on July 19 of last year. The two exchanged vows in front of approximately 300 guests including Robert Downey Jr., Jason Segel, Prinsloo’s fellow Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel, and Maroon 5 bandmates James Valentine and Jesse Carmichael. Prinsloo, 26, wore a custom-made blush Marchesa wedding dress.
On their first wedding anniversary just over two months ago, Levine was caught on video serenading Prinsloo with a sexy rendition of Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On.” According to a report from NBC’s KNTV the two were finishing a casual dinner at Flora’s Field Kitchen, the same Flora’s where they wed, when Adam spontaneously took to the stage to do what he does best.
