Jesy Nelson of the female pop foursome Little Mix shared new details about her and Jake Roche’s approaching wedding plans.
In speaking on her and Rixton musician Roche’s wedding day, Nelson, 22, seemed to waiver on how big she’d like their wedding to be, but, after having done her research, it seems a smaller wedding is in the works for the musical couple.
“I did want a big wedding, but then I’ve decided I’m not too sure,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I like intimate weddings.”

Of course her wedding wouldn’t be complete without her fellow Little Mix bandmates as bridesmaids, but Nelson doesn’t want to take too much control of their fun. She’s allowing a more relaxed wedding party dress code to ensure everyone is comfortable with their attire.
“I wouldn’t be a bridezilla,” Nelson told ET. “I wouldn’t be like, ‘You’ve got to wear this!’ I think I’d like a color scheme, but other than that… If you want to wear a suit, wear a suit. If you want to wear a skirt, wear a skirt.”
Perrie Edwards, 22, fellow Little Mix member and bridesmaid added, “Yeah, it needs to look neat!”
Edwards, whose own engagement to former One Direction member Zayn Malik, 22, ended earlier this year, shared that she and bandmate Jade Thirlwall, 22, are both “single and ready to mingle and just have fun!” despite Edwards still wearing her ex’s engagement ring.
As for Nelson and Roche’s summer engagement, Nelson’s fiance Roche, 22, popped the question on July 19 of this year with the help of his famous crooner friend Ed Sheeran.
The “Thinking Out Loud” singer actually drove 5 hours out of his way to get to the Manchester Arena while on a brief break from his “X Tour” in order to play his guitar and sing while Roche got down on one knee and asked Nelson to marry him, reported ET.
Roche posted the July proposal on Instagram writing, “A year ago today I met her at Manchester arena, so it was only right, with a little help from my friend, that this happened. Best day of my life.”
Though Nelson and Roche have yet to set an official wedding date, the date of Little Mix’s new album Get Weird has already passed making the, according to Edwards, “very fun, very colorful, very pop” album available to fans now.
