She’s just wearing her engagement ring. This Is Us standout Mandy Moore attended the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, September 17, where she flashed her new engagement ring from fiancé Taylor Goldsmith.
The multi-hyphenate looked beautiful in a black-and-white, tiered, tulle gown, which accompanied her delicate, round-cut diamond from the Dawes lead singer. Moore said she appreciated its low-key quality, despite her affirming that she isn’t an “engagement ring kind of girl.”
”He did a very good job,” Moore told Entertainment Tonight. “I’m a bashful girl and I didn’t think I really wanted one, but then… I’m very happy with this, because you can see my skin underneath. I like that.”
Moore’s This Is Us co-stars were the ones to confirm her engagement last week. “I was just in the studio with her her boyfriend, well now fiancé, Taylor,” Chris Sullivan said to ET last Wednesday. “She just sent out an alert over our family text chain, so I can’t wait to hear about it. She just sent a photo and just wanted us all to know that this just happened, and so then we went on a response spree for about a day and a half.”
Like Sullivan, Moore’s co-star Justin Hartley also reacted to the news last weekend. “It’s great. We are all thrilled,” he said to Extra. “What a great guy, a great couple, a great woman, a special time in their lives. I was happy to hear the amazing news. It put a smile on my face.”
